GIANT and MARTIN’S Raise Over $800,000 for CMN Hospitals and Support WVU Medicine Children’s!

In the spirit of holiday giving, GIANT Food Stores announced a record-breaking total of $814,223 was generously donated to local Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals by its customers during the company’s recent Candles for Kids fundraising campaign. The annual campaign took place in more than 180 GIANT and MARTIN’S Food Markets locations from Nov. 10 – Nov. 23.

GIANT is one of the top 15 corporate sponsors in the country for CMN Hospitals. Combined with the grocer’s in-store Miracle balloon campaign conducted earlier this year, customers raised more than $2.5 million for local CMN Hospitals in 2019.

“The GIANT team has a genuine passion for helping sick and injured children get the care they need. Their dedication to supporting our mission is deeply appreciated and continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families we serve,” said Clark Sweat, Chief Revenue Office for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Funds from the Candles for Kids fundraising campaign directly benefit our hospital here in West Virginia, WVU Medicine Children’s and 7 other amazing CMN Hospitals around the US!

We are so thankful for our GIANT and MARTIN’S partner locations!!
