Kids first, then ice cream: #MiracleTreatDay is August 2!

Help kids get back to being kids on August 2nd by celebrating Miracle Treat Day! When you purchase a Blizzard® Treat from participating Dairy Queen Locations, $1 or more from every Blizzard Treat sold will go to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

Your donation will help kids like Grayson. Amongst his CHOP friends, Grayson is known as “Little Rock.”  When Grayson was 2 years an MRI revealed an inoperable tumor on his brainstem and began Grayson’s long and arduous cancer journey.  Grayson endured numerous craniotomies, surgeries, over a year and a half of weekly chemotherapy and numerous treatment side effects.  Halfway through his cancer treatment, Grayson endured another traumatic event when he lost half his foot and four of his toes in a lawnmower accident.  Yet, in true “Little Rock” style, he once again defied odds and statistics and learned how to walk, run, climb, and ride his bike again within record time.  He is a beacon of light to his many doctors and nurses, who always comment on his optimistic outlook on life. He has never once complained of the countless hospital visits, admissions, and surgeries.  If you ask him, he will say that if he had a million dollars he would give it all to CHOP to find a cure for cancer.  Funds raised through the Children’s Miracle Network at CHOP help to make things just a little bit easier for Grayson and his family.  100% of the proceeds stay local and benefit vital patient care programs and services that truly make a difference in the life of a child- helping them to heal and cope with their healthcare experience.
